Help People

Salvation Army - Volunteers help with the Thrift Store, fund raising, food drives and distribution. During the Thanksgiving/Christmas seasons, they need sponsors to help families with gifts and food, bell ringers to raise funds, and assistance with the Christmas Angel tree at Gateway Mall. 928-778-0150.

Project Linus - 100% non-profit organization needs quilters, knitters and crocheters to make blankets for chilren. These comforting items are given out during trauma situations. Donations of NEW yarn and fabrics (cotton, flannel, fleece) appreciated. 928-445-6471.

Catholic Charities - Volunteers are needed for a wide variety of services including assisting families in crisis and providing education and help tax form prepration. 928-778-2531.

People Who Care - Volunteers primarily assist adults who are no longer able to drive due to a disability, chronic illness, recent surgery or aging related issues. Other volunteer opportunities also available. 928-445-2480.



Help Animals

Yavapai Humane Society - Volunteers help with animal adoptions, dog walking, fund raising, maintaining kennels and the Yavapai Humane Society Thrift Store. 928-445-5668.

Sharlot Hall Museum - Volunteers needed to interact with visitors as tour guides or docents and help in the Gift Store, with special events and festivals and maintenance of the gardens. 928-445-3122 X19.
