Annual Christmas Parade Prescott ArizonaDecember 4 was a perfect day for Prescott's Annual Christmas Parade with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 60s. Thousands of people founds places to sit or stand along the parade route downtown to enjoy this year's event, themed "The Bells of Christmas." This parade is a community celebration with entrants including tri-city schools, classic car clubs, animal rescue groups, motorcycles, miniature horses, local businesses and historical and charitable organizations.

Sneak Peek Courthouse Lighting Prescott ArizonaLocal Prescott residents were treated to a sneak peek of the Courthouse Lighting Tuesday evening, November 30. This was the first time the lighting test was announced to the public so they could gather downtown and get an advance look at the 2010 Annual Lighting of the Courthouse. The sidewalks surrounding the Courthouse were filled with onlookers enjoying the glitter and twinkling lights.

Christmas Electric Light Parade Prescott ArizonaPrescott's Annual Holiday Electric Light Parade kicked off the holiday season on Saturday, November 27. All the entrants put plenty of Christmas spirit into their creations and began lining up on Willis and Marina Streets just before dusk. Bundled-up adults and children poured into downtown carrying blankets and folding chairs and quickly found their places along the parade route.

Halloween on Mt. Vernon Street Prescott ArizonaHalloween was a treat for everyone visiting Mt. Vernon Street in Prescott, Arizona, on October 31. An annual tradition, once again residents of old Victorian homes on this historic steet decorated their front yards and waited for the ghosts and goblins to appear. Before dusk, many little ones appear, sometimes unsure of what's happening, carried or pushed in strollers by costumed parents. As night falls, the older trick-or-treaters make their way with thousands of others, stopping at each front porch and collecting their candy.
