Kiwanis Club sponsors this fun Downtown Prescott event for children and families. This is the 71st Annual Kiwanis Kiddie Parade and may be the biggest yet. Along with Boy Scouts and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Arizona, parade participants were entered in categories for costumes and decorations include Patriotic, Cowboy, Indian, Decorated Bicycles, Decorated Pets Costume and more.

Opening ceremonies for the all-day Prescott Bluegrass Festival began at 10:30 am, Saturday, June 23rd, on the Prescott Courthouse Square. Live music continued until 9 p.m. and resumed Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.

The First Annual Mile High Brewfest on June 16th featured the best of regional brews and live bands in a fun and festive atmosphere. It was held on the corner of the historic Courthouse Plaza on Montezuma and Goodwin streets in downtown Prescott.

The 2012 Yavapai Classic Cruisers Car Show and Swap Meet was held June 16 at Mile High Middle School in Prescott, Arizona. Judging was done by non-local independent judges and dash plaques were awarded to the first 125 cars.

On Saturday, June 16th, Tsunami on the Square "Surfing the Milky Way" began with a parade featuring lots of creative costumes, artists, musicians, dancers, acrobats... all kinds of performers. Established in 1998, Tsunami on the Square is a free, all-ages, outdoor performing arts and culture festival held the third week in June on Prescott's downtown Courthouse Plaza.
