Description
Prescott's Downtown Courthouse Plaza is the heart of the city. The Yavapai County Courthouse, formerly the Arizona Territory capitol building, is surrounded by century-old trees and grassy lawns. It's the venue for a variety of art shows, music and food festivals and holiday celebrations throughout the year. There's something happening almost every weekend during the summer months when locals turn out, tourists visit and Phoenix area residents make the trip to Prescott to escape the heat.
